Baby Leopard Gecko, please help.

ColdBloodedCutie Sep 24, 2007 09:48 PM

Hi!
I just purchased a baby leopard gecko, I've never owned one before, I'm a bearded dragon kind of gal. He's only about 3 1/2 inches long, and I can't get him to eat crickets, he'll eat mealworms just fine, but I'd rather him eat the crickets. Also, he hasn't passed a bowel movement yet, and that makes me kind of nervous, if someone could help me that would be much appreciated.

i wouldnt worry too much about not taking crix for now b/c he is indeed eating. both my leos smash superworms more than crix. if you really want him to eat crix pull off their two hind legs (makes less mobile) or pinch their heads like you would a mealie. how is the cage set up?

The cage is pretty simple. There's a couple of hiding places I bought from the pet store,a branch, food, water, and some calcium. That's about it.
