So I tossed a few crickets in cuz they like bugs too, and Malay snapped up a cricket.

Yeah, she loves to try and prove me wrong. My anorexic lizard. *sigh*

Well anywho, still appreciating any thoughts on my previous post, lol!

Well, you seemed to indicate in your other post (just read both for the first time) that the smaller one seemed to be submissive/dominated. I'd say set her up with her own terrarium for a while and see if she improves. If she is being caused stress by the other gecko, that's the easy cure.

This is a crap shoot, because I don't remember my source or what it was referring to, but here goes..

I once heard that in some situations where the male of the species is not present, that the females will create their own hierarchal pecking order.

And,that is unfortunately all I remember. When I started to type, everything I was thinking flew out of my head.

Listen to Ostlyn, s/he is smarter than myself.

Thanks so much guys, I sure hope that's the situation. I had fecal samples sent out to the vet a few weeks ago and I STILL haven't heard back (I'm really starting to dislike this guy). They tend to say "no news is good news", so I imagine that no news means no parasites, so by default that leaves the dominant female theory as the prominant cause of her weight loss.

And I figured I'd have more trouble keeping the Meller's cham!

Thanks again,
~Tiff
