So I am setting up a 40gal breeder tank for Africn Giant Millipedes and Hissing Cockroaches and I thought about getting a small frog or toad to go with them.

The roaches and millipedes wont bother anything, I just need to pick something that'll stay small enough so not bother them. What do you guys think?

Temps about 75-80ºF humidity about 80-85%

I thought about a Green Tree Frog or a Red Eye, but do you froggy people have an ideas/input?

Thanks alot!

lets see, the first thing that came to mind was a green treefrog. you want to get something that is 1)nocturnal, and 2) stays up high. and treefrogs are both. wouldn't get a whites, they would probably try to eat the roaches. i would go with green treefrogs, but reed frogs would work too. good luck!

Greens are neat. What about Mossy tree frogs? Something small that stays on the ground may be neat, too.

mossies are AMAZING frogs and i have three of em'. however, they need at least three inches of water their tank, and are very aquatic. they spend almost all their time in the water, and i'm not sure, but will the other stuff you put in with them drown? that would be a big enough tank, they arn't territorial so you don't have to worry about that, plus they are pretty hardy. if you decide to get them and keep them seperate from the other stuff, saurian enterprizes has them and aaronsfrogfarm.com has them. thats where i got mine. good luck, and if you have any questions you can e-mail me at otis07_@hotmail.com.
