How long have you had these and are you trying to breed them or do you know of others that have bred them? I just acquired a pair of cristatus and they are so beautiful it is hard to imagine they are not more popular and common. Thanks!
First off, I am glad that they are not that popular because they are inexpensive and very enjoyable with easy maintenance. I have 2 of the 2 species. These are egg layers, and yes I am attempting to breed them. I have a small colony of each. The 3rd species Percarinatus are live bearers and are not that easily obtainable here in the states. I keep my fingers crossed. They are really a nice lizard. They will take a variety of foods. They also do well with silkworms and wax worms. etc.
wo! they kind of look like the conehead lizard, but with different colors and that fancy head thing.
