pacman acting weird

SneakyDeaky2 Oct 04, 2007 08:27 PM

Lately, I've walked up on my pacman out in plain sight during the day, just sitting there with his mouth open and tongue a little forward. He'll do this for about about 2-5 min. to my knowledge. His home is always around 78-80 degrees, clean, his waterdish has fresh filtered water, and he's fed pretty well. He's had a small case of a droopy jaw from the day I got him. But other than that he's healthy. Is he constipated or something? Please help.

Sounds like it has (MBD) metabolic bone disease. Is his food/prey being dusted with calcium and vitamins supplements at least once or twice a week?

If you do use calcium dust use the one without phosphorus and with Vitamin D or sterol. Crickets are high in phosphorus and too much phosphorus isn't good for the frog. Good luck.
