Stolen Alligator snapper

HerpZillA Oct 09, 2007 11:45 AM

Hi, I just got a call that the shop I help at just had its very long term pet BUD a 14" alligator snapper was stolen yesterday.

I have never posted the shops name in here as I did not want to make it seem like I was drumming up business. It's not the reason I post here.

But please if anyone knows of, or hears of an approximate 14" Alligator snapper being sold. Please call

Wow I used to live down the road from Parma Pets and I remember seeing "Bud". Was he still in the aquarium at the front of the shop, and was he stolen during business hours or after?

During business hours. You then know how goofy the shop is with 3 sides. Owner must have been off somewhere for enough time for someone to drag out the tank and steal bud. he was on the second side in a 75 gallon near teh floor.

I called must shops and 2 said they had stuff stolen last week.

Sad, just sad.

I know how that feels. I work at a petco and a blue mountain lory that I helped raise from a baby and was thinking of buying was stolen

It is sad. When I was living in the area, people's bikes were being stolen when they were inside stores or from thier homes. My bike was stolen out of my storage. Hopefully someone can find out what happened with the stolen animals.

..a thought for a moment..for these persons or person to steal a large snapper during business hours, makes me think that they had others involved that were there to distract the personnel while the crime was committed. Something maybe the stores should keep an eye out for, in case they try to hit again.
