Been awhile for me as well. I have not seen anyone here, I know you still have geckos, lol.

I still have my 2 male henkeli, Barkley and Morticai doing well. I still have not replaced my girl, (Sindar who died last winter.) Guess it bummed me out when she died, and I stayed awya for awhile.

Just wondered how you all are ??????

hey eve...i still drop by now and then, but as some may know, i no longer keep anything. had a fire in my apartment while i was in utah in march, only lost 1 right off, but a couple died in the month or so following that. i got a decent, but seasonal, job with the SCDNR, doing herp studies in southern south carolina. even if i wanted to keep my geckos right now, i couldnt really because of where i live. i dont have cable tv or any internet out there. right now im only on cuz im back in raleigh for the weekend.

but anyway, im very happy with my job and it's got great possibility of leading me somewhere. still love the uroplatus, just on hiatus, i guess you could say.

take care.

YOU Gee it sure has been a long time. Seems everyone left, so I would peek in from time to time but all my ole pals were not here

I'm so sorry about the fire in your apt, I must have missed that. Sorry for your losses also. My goodness you had alot of geckos I thought??? Lot of uroplatus kids??? (Satanics)

Well I still have Barkley and Morticai, my male Henkeli, never got another female to replace Sindar ( I think that just bummed me out)

Well I wish you well and hope that job you like so much DOES infact lead you to a GOOD place in your life. Keep in touch buddy and enjoy you hiadis but hurry back

hey mike, i got a job with NCDNR working with the DWQ. in january ill be full time mapping wetlands and doing some macroinvertebrate sampling in southern nc. i still have that pair of satanics i picked up from the raleigh show in may (payed $70each). the female layed 3 pairs of infertile eggs shortly after i aquired them but i had the male and female separate. the males doin really well now so i keep them together. i still have like 15 baby gold dust day gecko babies from that women you connected me with. i might get a table at the next show in raleigh--i have to get rid of a lot of animals...maybe ill see ya there.

good to hear you're doing well too. awesome you're working with ncdnr. i really wish in part i could have stayed in nc to keep in touch more with my old friends and hobbies. but even though im 4 hrs from charlotte, 5 from raleigh, evidently it's too far for any of my friends to come visit. gets lonely out there!

well, at least this weekend im back for thanksgiving, so ill get a chance to see some people for now.

but yea, i didnt realize you were into wetlands delineations and stuff like that. i did that for a short while with a private contractor, but didnt get enough experience with it to get a job elsewhere (though i tried hard to).

so yea, theres a very slight chance you'll see me at a show. these days im too far away, and as i said im no longer keeping anything. i ache every time i know the show is in raleigh and i know i cant go. i miss being to devote a whole weekend to herps.

(not that i dont devote a huge chunk of my time to wild herps these days)
