Agama eating ants?

Hello,

I have a Pastel Agama. Its about 6" long. it alittle picky about what it eats. I tried some common wood ants and it became very active lickin up every one it could find.

here's my question:

Can it survive on Harvester ants? or will the ant "poison" make them sick?
