naturexchange Oct 18, 2007 11:21 PM

Anyone at least know where racers den in the NJ Pine Barrens? Rocky outcrops, pure sand, rodent burrows?? Any info would be great. THANKS!

Hello,
I'm looking for any information, published references, master's thesis etc., or general knowledge, on communal northern black racer dens in sand dune/pine barren habitats and the sites they choose.

Thanks to anyone that can help.

You can reply off list if you want to naturexchange@aol.com

Best,
Kenny

....be sure to apply for the proper permits first. You need one to collect, and another to keep racers.
