wow thats awesome. have you had yours since it was a baby?

i thought they didnt live long due to the deformity.

I bought them at 1 month of age , more or less. A lot of babysitting that 1st month or two so that they dont get stuck upside down

Wow, what a beauty (or beauties?) But aren't you worried about impaction using the small gravel? My slider had the problem twice before I switched to bigger rock.

Thanks, they are personable. Not had any problem with the gravel. Water is 2 foot deep , maybe that helps

sorry took so long but yes both heads eat. they also think indepently sometimes eenie goes left and meanie wants to go right

What do you do now to make sure the turtle doesnt drown do the heads "work" together?

Both heads work together for the most part They are in no danger of drowning. Swim very well but sometimes one wants to go left and the other right
