Some pictures I made from the horseshoe whipsnakes I cought in Spain. The pictures are from last year, but they are still nice animals.
There was one cb for sale in Houten, for only 40 euro. If he had 1.1 for sale I would have bought them.

Gilian

The other pictures are on another computer, I will add those later.

Very nice snakes, i've just been brought back a CB horseshoe, very pretty little thing.

And the malpolon are very cool snakes, have you seen the fangs in them though.

Great photo's!!...Malpolon is fast becoming a favourite species of mine...so similar to coachwhips!!

Yeah the malpolon are very cool animals, i know you were taken with them Paul.
Very strong bite from them, we had the small psycho out and it nailed the handle of the hook, wouldn't let go at all, really saw it stab the fangs into it. Not one I want to take a bite off.

I was 'hooked' ever since I had that one 'on the hook' over at your place.Fabulous attitute...and it was giving me plenty of verbal !!!..lol!

LOL!!..Just as I wrote that last message about Malpolon and attitute this little guy struck at the glass next to me!!...guess he does'nt want to be 'out done' by Malpolon...even if he does'nt have the same ammunition!!..lol!!

Hi Paul,

I was in a small place (La puebla the los infantes) somewehere in the middle between Sevilla and Cordoba. Have a look at this website: http://www.fincaparadies-andalusien.de/

I found several Malpolon, Natrix, Coluber and Coronella. Unfortutately no Vipera's.

If you want to visit Spain I advise you to go in spring. Not in the summer. It was 46 degrees centigrade in summer and very very dry!

Anyway, take your camera with you!

I think the pyrenees are also nice. But there are no Malpolons, so I choose for southern Spain....
