Breeding stinkpots?

NomadOfTheHills Nov 04, 2007 01:25 AM

Hi, I've recently acquired a pair of adult stink pots, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips for breeding them indoors. There is almost no information on google to be found!

Thanks in advance

Try their scientific name: Sternotherus odoratus. This will e.g. lead you to this page: http://www.breedingturtles.com/sternotherusodoratus.html

Yes lol... I've used their scientific name. The link you posted is almost a joke in the information it tries to provide.

Yeah, you're welcome...
There's not a whole lot of information in that link, but apart from "they never don't bask", it's better than nothing I would say.
