I have never heard of these before and am very interested in obtaining a pair. How might I get a hold on some of these guys? I do live in Texas also, where are they found in the wild if I were to go looking? Anywhere near central Tx?
Thanks all

And also, I hear much about people catching these. Are there not many in captivity? Also is there any laws about them in Texas? Thanks everyone again!
I'm not exactly sure, but I do know there are not many breeders, probably only 4-6 in the whole entire US. I know Blazing Diamond (http://blazingdiamondalligators.myfastforum.org/index.html) breeds Northern Alligator Lizards but also know they do not have any avaliable as of now. Maybe they could tell you more on their forum because I am not sure...they might know though......
