ALright so the local petstore has som cute lil baby Texas Spiny Softshell Turtles, and I realy would like to have one. But I havent a clue on how to take care of one? And could it live with a red eared slider or no? Sorry I'm new to turtles, I'm all about my snakes so yeah. But I would love to get into keeping them, sorry for the newbness, but any advice would be nice ^^ Thanks!

i bought a spiny a few months ago and from what i read u should keep them by themselve because they can get injured by the other turtle and they are prone to shell infection...so basking is a must...and they need alot of swimming room....those are the basics to keeping one....dont know it this would help but good luck with ur decision...
