Neat looking toad are they mating in your set up? How big are they compared to the regular commonly sold Bombinas ?

Thanks

Hi

Out of 300 eggs i've raised some 70 toads this year.
Bombina orientalis can grow to some 2 inches, Bombina
maxima up to 3 - 3.5 inches.

Oh how neat. They remind me of toad/frog combo. What temp do you keep them at and are they as aquatic as the smaller bombina?

Thanks

Hi

Bombina maxima should be kept cooler than f.i.
Bombina orientalis, some 64F to 68F.
Very aquatic, although females tend to spend more time
at the landpart, specially during the nights.
