Misisng Chinese Water Dragon

tsumaru Dec 01, 2007 09:47 PM

Hi, i have 3 Chinese water dragons and an iguana.

On tuesday this week one of my water dragons went missing in the house.

As of yet i havent even seen any signs of her. Have checked under everything she can get to and even things she cant but there are just no signs of her.

Im a little worried now as it has been a few days. I live in the UK and at night the house does get reasonably cold...

Can anyone give me any tips/tricks to flush her out?

no offence, but how could you lose a waterdragon, they are huge? even when they are babies, it's a little different than loosing a little gecko or frog or something?
and are you housing the ig with the wd's? if so, you are just setting yourself up for failure. how cold does it get? if it's below 60F that could be bad, but otherwise they are pretty hardy. put lots of water dishes out, it will die of thirst before starvation.

Look up! Honestly, they usually go somewhere up. But now always, especially in this colder weather. Get on your knees and look around at that level. You will find him, I just know it! The longest mine was gone is five days, but I have a friend who lost hers for two weeks.

Tis ok, found her.. the fridge/freezer was leaking and so there was water all over the floor.. motors get warm so i suspect she was hiding out there for the warmth and the water.. she is ok now tho
