Are you misting the tank? He could be dry and trying to moisten up. Dont over do the humidity though. Do you watch them at night? They are nocturnal and move around at night. I have a female thats sits in the corner all day and is brown, but when the lights go off she moves around and turns green.
humidity is fine. no i havent watched him at night i might do that and see if he changes. Also, how long does it take for them to show full blue color. they both show a little on their noses but not the body
Let them settle in and do stress them to much. Cover their tank for priacy and try not to disturb them. Feed them 3-4 times a week and keep the good humidity and they should settle in soon.
Made a mistanke typing I said do stress Im sure you know I meant do not stress them
i have two whites and they are completly differnt colors depending on day time and temp, humidity ect. what are your temps ect? sometimes some are just greener/browner than others, and there isn't a "problem" thats just thier color. as long as they are still active at night and eating i don't think there is anything to worry about.

Sounds fine. As long as it's eating don't worry about it, just make sure you temp/hum and light schedule is right. I'm sure you've done your research and know the care requirments by now if you've found this forum. As previously posted, nocturnes such as White's are usually inactive during the day and brown is just one of the colors of the spectrum.
These are really easy to keep.
