?'s about Green Basilisks

ANIMALmenagerie Dec 14, 2007 02:28 PM

Hello. I have a tank that is 6 ft by around 20 inches deep by 25 inches tall. I want to get some basilisks for it. I have researched their care and one thing i can't find an answer to is can i keep a m/f pair in one tank? or can i keep a m/f/f trio in this tank or in general? thanks.

Way too small. Minimum meaningful size is 6 ft wide, 6 ft tall and 2.5 ft deep.

What about just one male?

Changes nothing

the males are the more aggressive of the two, so trio's are possible, but with a tank your size i think a pair would fit very comfortably in it. putting 3 3 foot lizards in a 6 foot long tank would be pushing it.
