Hybrid pacman frog question .

a_chen_tw Dec 19, 2007 12:42 PM

This is a fantasy pacman frog I seen at a pet shop . They said this is a hybrid species breeded from Amazon pacma and Green pacman . I am jusy wondering , if hybrid pacmans can still be breeding together and produce their offspring ? Bcoz I have heard some people said hybrid pacmans can not breeding and produce any offspring . Is that true or false ?

thanks.

I have also read that fantasy frogs are sterile. But who knows there might be a fertile one out there, considering the genetic makeup of amphibians are not as complex as the bigger mammals.

Another thing, gravel is not good for these frogs. They get too excited when it comes to feeding time, they could accidentally ingest a piece of gravel and get impacted.

They are a cross of cornutas and cranwells. NEVER keep them on gravel, use coco fiber.
