I have heard alot about false bottom tanks? What does this mean? Does this type of tank help the frogs, or is it just for show? Any explinations would be great. Thanks in advance.

A false bottom is good for your frogs if you want to have live plants, and don't want to spend as much time cleaning the tank on a regular basis. What you're doing is raising the land level a few inches so that the bottom is all water. This makes it easier for you to have a filter cleaning out all the water, and also easier to create a waterfall and pond area. It takes a bit more time but is well worth it in the end since all you have to do to clean the tank is wipe down the sides with vinegar and water. I have added a website that I used and is really good at explaining the steps. Hope this helps!
FALSE BOTTOM TERRARIUMS
The term “false bottom” is what it says, it is an arrangement of a unseen level to provide drainage. There are many ways to make a false bottom tank, one way and perhaps the simplest way is to use PVC piping and egg crate. First of all you will need a clean glass tank. Then get PVC piping, egg crate, mesh screen, and black silicone. You can purchase these at most home improvement stores.
good for plants and if you have a water feature thats where you hide the pump.
