Knight Anoles eating roaches?

Rachel4Rent Dec 22, 2007 08:58 PM

I heard that roaches have a nice shell to meat ratio for reptiles. Would they be okay to fed to my knight? I was thinking of setting up a Blaptica Dubia colony so I could stop having to buy crickets constantly.

Thoughts/Suggestions?

They should be ok, just use the juviniles as the full adults may be a bit hard. Lobsters would be good for all anole types and they produce like crazy! But their down side is the climbing and being fast - if you take precautions, I think that would be the better solution.
