Feeding a African Bull Frog

They eat anything and lots of it! Just vary the diet. Give them any types of insects, worms, pinks, fish, etc. They have their own preferences and will let you know what they like. Twice a week is plenty for an adult, and three times for a young frog. I hibernate mine in the winter, and they don't eat for a month.

Mine does not eat during the winter, nor does he get water.

However, once he is awake, he will eat a mouse every week or three, or earthworms. He is too big for anything else.
