Well my RETF finally died on Christmas Eve, I think I had him for over 2 years. My Dumpys are about 6 years old and I like the idea of larger frogs. I really want those Waxy Monkey Tree Frogs. Who is the best supplier out there? The only one I see so far is LLL Reptile and a couple of vendors on the Kingsnake Classified forum, but they are wild caught. The only reptile show around by me, (NJ) is the one in Westchester NY next weekend but due to experience I never had much experience with frogs over there, (finding them). Unless someone knows that someone will be there with Waxys?
I have a nice tall 30-40 gallon hex tank perfect for a pair.

The Waxys you have mentioned avialable for sale are actually captive born. These have been primarily produced by one breeder and are now offered for resale by others. There was a small number of wild caught adults avialable earlier this year but they were quickly purchased by breeders. Do not hesitate on aquiring a small collection of this species, but reinforce your need for captive born vs wild caught to the vendors. Another consideration you must make is upon the husbandry capibilities of the seller. It is very possible that they are down to a very few animals which have been picked over and over and over. At this point you should consider if a few captives for your personal use would suffice more that the idea of eventually breeding them.

aarons frog farm has is breeding them, and sandfiredragons may be. don't know if either place has them now, but will in the future i think.

ok- I want a male and female, (just for name purposes) besides I have a male and female Dumpy because of their size they look so cute together. Any way of telling if my two Waxy's are romeo and juliet or juliet and jane (LOL). Or do I have to wait to see if they grow any. No one has made any noise yet. They hang out separately in the tank, but then again, its only been one day.
