did anyone ever figure out the reason they do that? is it natural or some kind of infection? there was a post from a while back where a guy had this problem with his and i would like to know if anyone figure out why. any info would help

I heard somewhere that it might help with shedding the skin over their eyes.
I have seen several lizards buldge their eyes: my iguanas did it, my elegant helmeted basilik did it, and my frill does it once in a while.

u mean when the eyes look almost bloodshot? bc thats what i see once in a while his eyes will buldge out and look almost bloodshot then when i tap on the glass or something he comes back to reality almost lol. i was wondering if trhis was bad or something bc i dont wana let him do it and one day see him with his eyes exploded or something
Well, his eyes are closed-but they are buldging out from the head so that they look like they are popping out. It looks really strange.
