Cordylus species ID

DocOp Jan 03, 2008 12:50 PM

Just obtained a couple of Cordylus sp. and I'm not totally sure what species. I believe the larger of the two is a female Forested (Cordylus tropidosternum), but the smaller of the two I believe is something different. Photos below:

Smaller, in question, one:

Both:

Larger, female, Forested:

Let me know what you think. Thanks.

You have 2 different species required a bit different keeping conditions.
The smaller one is C. beraducci which is more dry rupicolous species and the other big one - C. tropidosternum which leads semiarboreal style of life and is much more humid dependant.
Both are really nice species!
Wish You luck!

Thanks man, I was still trying to figure out what sp. the smaller individual was. You have much experience keeping C. beraducci? I'm thinking of obtaining a few more just to play around with and bred. Thanks again.
