How old is you Dumeril's Nice too!

got her in 98', so she'll be 10 this year

that has to be one of the biggest dumerils i've seen. she's absolutely gorgeous too! how tall are you/big is the snake exactly?

I'm 5'10". I thinks she's just under 8feet. maybe 7'8". I've got more pics of me lying beside her & pics of my male.

gorgeous snake, and huge. i didn't realize dumeril boas can get that big.

Oh yea, but she's very sweet. I recently made the mistake of not handling her for a while in conjunction with feeding her in her cage & now when I open the cage she jerks & lunges at me. Now I ALWAYS take her out of the cage to feed her. She is ok once I get her out of the cage, as you can see from the pics.

feeding schedule varies from a couple of weeks to a month. I breed rat, but I never have enough for every feeding, so I'll go buy some chicks or quail. She now will not eat quail anymore. I thought she was eating them, cause when I put them in a box one at a time, she would wrap it, then when I looked in I didn't see it. After about 3 quail I opened the box to put her back in the cage only to find 3 dead quail. Now it's just chicks & rats.

are you breeding her? if you are, how many young is a dum that size producing?

I have no idea how many she could put out. I'm no breeder, but if it happens, great. I have, however, put my two together, just in case.

Great snake....Hope mine gets bigger. Ihave a 3.5 yr male and he measures around 60" (5ft).Do u think he will make 6 ft and get thick like yours.

I'm sure he'll make 6', but males don't get as large as females

How big is your male?

Never measured him, but he looks to be around 5 & a half feet

What type of cage do u keep your dumerils in.....And do u have a pick of your male...im sure he looks just as good as that female
