V.ammodytes meridionalis

Our enclosure housing a small group (2.2) of Vipera ammodytes meridionalis. The males are already beginning to court the females, doesn't take long for the excitement to happen!

They're stunning! I love all the European herps, especially the vipers. Do you have any close up pics of your ammodytes??

Amazing animals.Euro vipers were the first vens that I was attracted to.That was about 25 yrs ago.
I just picked up my first of many to come euro vipers.Thanks to the guy with the closet I will nwever forget...
