While I'm taking pictures...

While I'm taking pictures, I figured I might as well show you my (perfectly healthy) banded water snake, Tito, and my set up. And since I'm a moron and don't know how to show mutliple pics in one post... Yeah.

This is Tito, who's my sweetheat of the two, but also the biggest moron. I literally have to hold the fish in front of his face for him to be able to get it. He's not bright at all, but he's also very, very laid back and really puts the 'mean nasty water snake' stereotype into a different light. He's my buddy.

And this is my setup, in particular, the log/cover side of my setup. On the other side is a dog bowl filled with water. I keep them in a 20 long terrarium with the cover that it came with which has worked perfectly so far. They have old, clean leaves from this fall, a branch that I wittled the bark off of, rinsed in a bleach and water solution and then baked, and they have a few old corn husks to rub against when they shed, which they seem to like. (They're Nebraskan snakes, to the core)

Great set up and great looking snake nice to see a nice set up and happy snake.

I only keep kingsnakes but lots water snakes in my area (Miami) as I live near big lake with lots bushes, trees.

I have pond in the yard sometimes water /garter snakes come early in am or at night and eat the mollies-swordtails we have zillion of them so whatever they catch they can take its fine.

The fish just keep reproducing
