IdoTHATforME Feb 02, 2008 05:19 PM

Hi everyone!
I just got my baby NA wood turtle! Right noe it is set up in a 30long with rought 4 inches of water. there are lots of rocks in there with most of the rocks on one side to make a "land area". Right now i only have a UV light over the land side. how warm should the basking spot be for this little guy?
Thanks
Frankie

Hi Frankie. I provide a spot approaching 90 degrees F. They usually hang out under the cooler edges of the spot, though.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
