Hi have two mantellas in a 20 gallon set up. My problem is I never see the frogs they constantly hide is normal behavior for this species?

I had a couple golden mantellas and they were out ALL the time. What kind do you have? Is it moist enough? Sometimes frogs hide in damp areas (dark), when it's too dry.

I have one bronze mantella and one painted mantella. I mist the tank once a day. Do you think thats enough? Unfortunately I don't have a humidity gauge. Probably should get one.

I would get a gauge. I never had either of those kinds though so I can't lend any personal experience.
