humidity requirements?

geislandi Feb 04, 2008 10:28 PM

I have received conflicting advice on the humidity requirements of tree dragons. Some people have told me that they should be misted regularly, but others have told me that only mountain dragons require regular misting. They have a large shallow pan of water that they slosh around in sometimes, but I've never seen them drink from it. I mist occasionally, but they don't seem to enjoy it.

Should I mist or not?

If you want to see them drink, have some type of running water system in your enclosure. I think spraying is valueless,

I mist my Jap heavily every day, several times a day, and he drinks from the running water. I agree that some sort of running water would be easier than multiple daily mistings.
