I'm trying to think outside the box here.
if you want to go outside the box go with two snakes that are complete opposites like ball x corn
but rosy x sand is an interesting topic becuase if im not mistaken rosy boas are from north america and sand "boas" are from africa, woundnt that make the sand boa a pyhton?

There are some Boas dotted around the world, not just found in the new world.

Where you are born does not designate what you are. Eryx are Boas and African and central Asian. Candoia are Boas and Indonesian. Epicrates species are primarily Caribbean, with the inland species being the common Rainbow Boas (Epicrates striatus) that everybody sees nowadays. Casarea dussumeiri (Round Island Boa, Bolyeria) is found off the coast of Africa. Sonoran Boas are found in the USA.
Just like Randy T said, there's Boas scattered across the globe.

Eryx x Lichanura would be an interesting and very likely possible cross. You could really mix things up by using morphs from both genera. Kenyans have anery, albino, snow and rosies have lots of different locales and albinos and most likely other morphs I dont' know about (I ain't BoaJosh hehe). I say give it a shot. All signs point to yes. Both are desert boa species.
