Nice to see someone working with Madreans. I lived in AZ for 30 years and they were always a treat to encounter. Wiggly things. You seem to do very well with your Allies and I'd like to ask how often you dust their food. I have not kept any for years but I miss them, and maybe it's time to revisit some old friends.

I tend to dust every feeding with Rep-Cal Calcium with vitamin D3 and once a week or so with Herptivite.

The baby madreans I hatched out last summer are much easier to handle than the adults. They're a bit jumpier than my captive hatched southerns, but they don't writhe and panic like their parents. I didn't do anything special to cycle my adult pair this past winter, so I'm not sure if I'll get any breeding / eggs. If I don't, I'll make a more concerted effort this coming summer and winter.
