Somehow I guess I missed an egg last October and when I woke up this morning, there was this lovely little baby Black Knobbed Sawback (Graptemys nigrinoda nigrinoda) swimming around! Lucky the adults didn't decide to chomp on him. What a great surprise to start the '08 season!

Yeah - I have hatched a couple of others (in the incubator as opposed to the dirt!) as well.
