I believe this is a yellow bellied slider just not positive. Found in Gulf Breeze, FL(just below Pensacola). Sorry about the blurry bottom view.
Thanks

It looks like a cross between T.s. scripta and T.s.elegans to me.
Dan
I agree. I've seen similar-looking crosses in Tennessee, presumably due to released pet T. s. scripta mating with the local elegans. I guess in your area it would be local scripta and released elegans.
Pure yellowbellies have no spots on the plastron, and no red or orange on the side of the head.
I have been checking out the area and have not seen red ears. Not ruling out the possiblity. What do you think about a possible cummberland slider mix. It has all the signs of a cumberland except for the vertical bars on the side of the neck. Just throwing it out their.

No, no Cumberland slider in your turtle. RES I'm afraid are everywhere.
Danny
I hear that red ears spread like wild fire. That is probably why they don't sell them in Florida anymore. Thanks for the info though.
Take care,
John

That is nothing more than a pure Yellowbelly hatchling.
