It's been a few weeks since I've been on and I just wanted to say "Hi" from Phx, AZ!!
We are starting to get temps above 72 degrees during the day so the torts are starting to dig their new burrows.

All is good and the 4 torts are happy and healthy!!
3 Sulcatas
1 Marginated

Sulcatas and Marginateds. By far, the best tortoise pets, in my opinion. Never had a problem with either species, once the little youngsters get established.

I agree!! Well so far anyway. I'm moving my 1.5 year old Marginated outside full time starting next month and given his adjustment I might let him hibernate on his own this year--but we'll see how things work out. I may move him inside next winter but if he starts burrowing I may let him have at it!! I'm not used to these hibernating pets--I'm used to the year around Sulcatas.
