red, eastern coach and horseshoe whip

mikean Mar 05, 2008 03:16 PM

Here's a couple of my new red, eating really well and starting to put on weight now.

My new eastern, he's finally eaten something on his own, out of cool down now and in the hot end !

And a couple of my horseshoe whipsnake, stunning little thing growing like a weed.

Get posting some pics of all your whips up here

Love the pinks but I think I like easterns better. either way both great snakes, any fast moving large colubrid does it for me. Next on my list are Yellow bellies or stripped whips, unless I could find pytas or cheaper psuestes. Thats after I find my spilotes a boyfriend

Typical, you are in the states.

I'm looking for a girlfriend for my spilotes, bit far to send him though over there. LOL

Yours really is an Eastern Mike...mine could be a cross over or something ...he's great though. Both he and the red are putting weight on..
By the way your female eats like a p.i.g....lol!!...she's doing fine and seems to be quite fond of my large male...fingers crossed.
Will get some pic's of the 2 of them up soon.

Whats "typical"
You guys have more bloodlines of alot of cool snakes that I can't get as easily as you, rynocophis, elaphe prasina, alot easier access to asian elaphe, mostly that. I love the fact theres a contingent of you over there, sometimes I think you post more than us regarding these snakes.
Nate
I love this pic some of the most turquise sides I've seen.

Awesome!

Spilotes are the best snakes ever. Well, I have to say that Coachwhips are even better otherwise people will get angry ļ
I had 2.0 adult cb specimens, and have been looking for a female for years, but no success. I sold them but am hoping to find some on the fair in Hamm next week. Probably not¡K

They should be bred more often. I will put some pictures on the internet of my Spilotes later.

Regards

Gilian

Nice animals, especially the eastern!

How is the hippocrepis doing? They are offered quite often as cb babies here and almost bought them once. Are they nervous? They always look relaxed. To bad they get darker as they get older.

Kind regards

Gilian
