horned frog housing

Lizardgirl19 Mar 07, 2008 05:23 PM

I have a young horned frog in a large plastic critter keeper, will it ever grow out of it?

right now my pac man is a little over 2.5 inches long and wide, may be a little more. I have had it for ever since a few days before christmas. Is it at a normal size?

Hmmm, at 2.5" it will be OK in the large Kritter Keeper. Just how large is the large Kritter Keeper. If it's large enough, you frog can stay in there its whole life. I have one large one, too, and I think I can comfortably house an adult in there. Usually a 10 gallon is sufficient for an adult pac-man.

You said you had him since Christmas? I think he is kindda on small size. How often are you feeding him? At that young age you should be feeding him everyday or everyother day as much as he wants in one sitting. When they are growing, they need all the calories they can get and it is crucial that you feed him well during the first year of his life, so he will grow and develop well.
