Might you describe the scenario a little more in detail? Is this animal just going about this for no apparent reason, or is during feeding? Give us more information so we may more accurately provide assistance. Hope we can help.

there seems to be no apparent reason,he shed about a week ago,he is not hungry he has been fed twice since sheding,he always sheds in one piece so theres no dead skin on him,he his or seems to chace himself aroud the vid, (like a dog chasing is tail) he only eats dead food he,s never had live food
if its always in the same place- i've seen kings and corns do it before. once i saw a king bite itself where its heart was while it was dieing- probably had a heart attack and was biting what was hurting it. it could be a million and 1 reasons.... if its a male it might smell a female and think itself is a female too(seen that before too)

Also check and see if the temps got too hot and if you thermostat failed. Check for mites too if didnt already. I have had cal kings go into a feeding frenzy and bite themselves even given f/thawed. Years ago I have seen a Leucistic TX Ratsnake move in circkes(tail chasing)and role over and not be able to right itself up, however it was because the snake was born with some sort of Neurological birth defect. I am sure thats not the case with yours.
