Do you feel that Dumeril's have been overlooked for boas with brighter colors? I think that they are beautiful.
Species with no "morphs" often are overlooked as people do not have as much interest breeding them, and that usually results in fewer babies in the pet trade, and a higher price tag (also you can't import dums). I think dums are a fantastic species! They get big enough for those who want something a tad bigger than a ball python, but they are not so big you need multiple people to move them 
I also agree they are quite beautiful

I think your first sentence explains it well! If an albino Dumerils ever comes into play, watch how popular they'll become. In my opinion, a good Dumerils beats any "common" boa and you can take my boa morphs before any of my Dumerils.
