New fat tail without toe nails PICS***

she was just given to me a couple of days ago. i am very surprised to see that she has no toe nails. what could of caused this?

Wow!!! My first guess would have been bad sheds, but it looks as though they're just missing, as if they never grew in. That looks odd. Sorry I can't be more help.

yea its really odd. i keep all my geckos on tile except for her. she is kept on sand because she cant grip on the tile.

I know when they shed, if you don't get the dry skin off of their toes, it can lead to this. Our gecko never seems to get the skin off her toes very well, have to help her. Wet them with luke warm water & rub the skin off. Not sure if this is the cause, but have always heard of that happening.
