Gila eye infection ~ HELP!

JTK Mar 25, 2008 10:02 AM

I recently started warming my gilas after a three month nap and noticed that one of my animals has what appears to be a eye infection in the lining of the eye/eyelid. I've started him on vitamins and he's feeding, but I need some assistance on what antibiotic I might need to assist if the infection continues. I live in a legal area, but I have no access to a herp vet that can/will work on gilas. I have access to get the needded meds, I just need some help from those of you who may have had this problem and what worked to cure it.... Thanks for any help!!

Jeff

Did you look to see if it had anything in its eye? If it does you might be able to flush it out.
