Got a (second) pacman at a show a couple weeks ago. Eating fine, acting fine, normal temps, etc. Few days after I got him, his eye started to discharge clear liquid. Couple days after that it was very mucousy, and much thicker discharge. (only 1 of his eyes) Now the eye is basically all covered in white mucous, and opaque. Still acting normal.
Anyone have any experience with eye problems?

Take it to the vet.

I have had this happen twice, and both times the animals came from the same source. I need someone to tell me what medication would be safe for treating the eyes, which have become very cloudy. My vet is not well versed in amphibians, but will work with me on medications once I know what I need. Thanks for the help. Steve

Get some kind of Reptile Eye Rinse. Click here to check out Fluker's product. It works amazingly... fixed my pacman's eye problem in a week, and my RES in 2 weeks. 1-3 drops up to 3 times per day.
