Venomoid poop. Seriously...

Upscale Apr 06, 2008 09:52 AM

Yes I am being serious. Anyone with experience keeping (and feeding) both venomoid and not of the same species may be able to contribute to an age old debate on what effect venom plays in digestion of food items. Do you notice any difference in the poop? My hunch is that the poop is exactly the same. I would love to hear from those who have more than a hunch in the poop department.

gaboons
rhinos

forest cobras
indian cobras
and it was all the same, even about the same time digesting their meals i seen no diference at all and this was with 10 or more of each species hot and venomoid

I have kept 'moids before I switched to hots. I have kept/been keeping both vipers and elapids. No "visible" change but a detailed fecal test would be the best way to go to end the debate.
