Choco Red-foot tortoise, any information

vidusa Apr 08, 2008 10:56 AM

There is a population of red-footed tortoises in Colombia in the Department of Choco on the pacific coast. This population is separated from the main population of red footed tortoises by the Andes mountains. It is reported that their shells are brown instead of black. Does anyone know anything else of this population? Do you know size and coloration, etc?

Did you check in Pritchard's book? I think
he might describe them, but I'm not sure.
