Fire Skink cage size

jjenkins Apr 09, 2008 05:07 AM

Hi,

How big of an aquarium would I need for a breeding pair of Fire Skinks? I know I should go for the "long" variety, but I am not sure what size. 30 gal? 40 gal?

Thanks

I have a pair in a 40 breeder. Both are adults, 12"-14" in length. Both are very healthy and have eaten and shed well since I have had them. They are beautiful animals I just wish that there was more detailed info available about them. Here is a pic of my setup.

They are great skinks to keep hope you enjoy them as much as I have!
