My leucistic newts

jays Apr 10, 2008 09:53 AM

I thought I would show some pics of my leucistic ribbed newts.I hatched the first ones around a half a year ago.I am the breeder and the "creator" of the morph.I didn't actually "create" the leucistics, it was just a fluke and a surprise. For those who may not be familiar with the species, this is the largest newt. They can get to a record 15 inches and weigh almost one pound. They are also the easiest newt to keep and are very hardy.
