Does anyone here use hatchrite? I started using it this year and I am 10 out of 10 as of today. I had a few last year using perilite that didn't cut through. I think it was due to too much moisture on the egg surface.I've notice the hatchrite hold humidity but doesn't feel wet. I wanted to know if anyone else was having good luck with it. Thanks, SE

i used peralite this year for two of my eggs. theyre not looking too hot. it was a test, and i feel its failing. the eggs are still healthy, but ive noticed mold growing on them recently. last time i use it. ive never tried hatchrite, and ill give it a shot if you have such a high hatch rate, ive always used vermiculite with no deaths except mess ups on my part, too higgh of temp, too much flux etc.

Haven't used it.... in fact, I have half a case of it sitting in the closet somewhere, lol.... I've been using Aquatic Pond soil ( Turface). This stuff is the real deal! Allen Repashy is going to be selling it as a product called 'super hatch' and Matt Parks at Pangea should have it for sale sometime in the near future. This stuff can hold up to 10X the moisture of perlite by weight, and you can literally see when it's wet/dry which makes it really easy to tell when to add water.
