Supplementary vitamins

mdterp Apr 18, 2008 03:39 PM

I recently looked back at my March issue of REPTILES and read the article about Diplodactylus and it said they should be offered supplementary vitamins 1 a week. What are supplementary vitamins? Are they the same as D3 or multivitamins?

I'm pretty sure they mean multivitamins such as Herpitive. I mix 1 part Herpitive to 3 parts Repcal in the pink label. There is alot that comes into play when it comes to all this. But if you use that mix and no UV then you should be good. If anything just ask a breeder of the species in question they will tell you what they do and you can copy and make adjustments as needed.
