Absolutely gorgeous, both the animal AND the photo, especially the last one. Good selection of stone to shoot on. Looks like the type used in the Zonata book written by Gerold Merker and Luke Mulks.

Thanks Jerry, The rock is Granite and I've got that book so thats probably where I got the idea from.

Hey Jeff, that's what it's all about if you ask me. We should all responsibly enjoy and SHARE these amazing animals. Zonatas are beautiful, mysterious, and are unique from locality to locality in their own way. Albeit they are tough creatures to work with often times, they are a prize. Good work man, and hope to meet ya one day at an expo or something along those lines. I trust you'll have some production next year?

Very nice male Jeff. The season is definately moving right along. My first of four gravid females had her pre-lay shed two days ago. Just put the nest box in with her last night and took out the water bowl. I'll try to get some pics of her laying if I'm home when she is pooping em' out. How's everyone else doing with their agalmas so far this year?

Jerry, sounds good.I'm gonna be at the Anaheim show in September. It would be nice to meet up sometime. My females are both eating good and are growing fast they should be big enough by next year to breed, that will be my the next challenge.

Hey Allan, keep popping out those babies.I'm looking forward to see what you have this year.

Thanks again guys,Jeff

Just got a pre-egg lay shed yesterday, so the necessary preparations have been undertaken here as well. Although i do tend to leave a bit of very shallow water just enough to drink. The type of water bowl I use is unlikely to be used for egg laying -- I'll try to get a pic of it soon. Allan, thanks for your help recently by the way. I owe ya one.
